BCT15X: Serial port data

Does the BCT15X send the current channel frequency information out via the data port as it scans?

I would like to read the data with an arduino and wondered if anyone has done it of if it was possible.

You can connect it to PROSCAN and Record it Log it Program it and Remote Control it all with the same software.

I'm interested in getting the frequency data and using the arduino to control a physical output based on what the current frequency is. For example, If the current frequency is between 144.000Mhz and 146.00Mhz then light up a blue LED. If it's between 430.000Mhz and 440.000Mhz then light up a red led.

Just interested for a small educational project i'm looking into.

You want to look at the GLG and STS command.

{edit} RSSI command may be what you want.
