I moved my computer around a bit and after reconnecting the USB-1 cables (with DB9) to the 2 BCD996's I use for Pro96Com I started the programs. One started just fine with Com2 and the other (on Com1) would not. In Pro96Com it showed that Com 2 and 3 were available but in Device Manager they were showing up as Com2 and Com 1 (as expected).
I changed Pro96Com to Com 3 and it works fine but I don't know whay Device Manager insists it is Com 3.
I suppose I could reinstall the drivers but I wonder if anyone else has seen this occur?
Windows 10 Pro and Pro96Com v 1-11.7 b212 are the versions and the cables are in the same USB ports they were before.
