When I try to listen to the live audio feed for vanderburgh county, it tries to connect in winamp, and then just fails to connect. However, when I listen on my phone(Motorola Backflip running Andorid 1.5) via Droid Live Lite, it says the server is full.

I had my feed saved on winamp and I tried to play it the other day only to find it wouldnt connect. Then i noticed the URL changed. I went from http://audio2.radioreference.com to Icecast Streaming Media Server. Not sure why this came to be...

Yes we did change the relays.

Instead of feeds on a particular relay, we now use any of three.

If you bookmark feeds to listen to in iTune, Winamo or other, simply change Audio2 or other to "relay":
You listening URL to a feed should look like this:
http://relay.radioreference.com:80/ca_smco_fire

In attempting to listen to your feed, I find NO feed under your user name of Xplorer4x4.

Do you have the feed listed under another user name & what is/was your feed name?

You could have a feed that was off line where the feed provider icon wold not show.

Again, if you bookmark feeds to listen to in iTune, Winamp or other, simply change Audio2 or other in the URL to "relay":
Your listening URL to a feed should look like this:
http://relay.radioreference.com:80/ca_smco_fire

The other way is to click on the feed you want to listen to & have it open on Winamp or iTunes & save that URL.

This seems to be going around in circles accomplishing nothing so let me be more clear.
Is the URL change the reason it says server full?
Is it because the stream is offline?
Is the server literally full?

I think option 1 is off the table because I have tried loading the feed via the website just today and it doesnt load in winamp or Droid Live Lite.

And in regards to the URL change, I still dont know what the link for Vanderburgh Police and fire would be:
http://relay.radioreference.com/in_vdco_policefire
Is this correct? Seems the examples not very clear as there could be plenty of variables.

The only variables in the feed URL is the mount point (/295359268).
This is different for each feed. The rest of the URL is the same for all feeds now that we changed to a different relay system.

The feed URL that you list:
http://relay.radioreference.com/in_vdco_policefire
is not a valid URL.
It does not have a port number & it does not exist.

I cannot find a feed as you list:
Vanderburgh Police and fire

I can connect to both feeds in that county fine (Vanderburgh County in Indiana - Vanderburgh County, Indiana (IN) Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com)

I do not know why you get a server full message unless you are trying to connect to a feed URL that does not exist. Our servers are set up handle thousands of connections.

The only Police & Fire feed I see for Vanderburgh County in Indiana as shown above is:
Evansville Police and Fire Dispatch
This is the feed URL is:
http://relay.radioreference.com:80/295359268
It shows online.

Is this the feed you are asking about?

The feed is up now, it was down due to weather still at the time of my last post. It looks like the problem was simply that the feed was down as the site does report it online now and the feed is working.

And yes I meant Evansville Police and Fire. Evansville is the only major city in Vanderburgh, but the feed covers the entire county so I was mixed up, Actually it covers part of Posey County,IN and even Henderson County,KY(and I dont mean the ISP Tower in Hendo with those familiar with the area).

Thanks anyways.
