Service Search ?

Any way to change the start frequency on the Air Band Service Search on the 996XT? The first 10 MHz from 108 to 118 is pretty much useless for me, I'd rather have it start at 118 MHz.

You could lock them out individually, or create a new system or group with those freqs you wish only.

If there is significant interest in duplicating the Service bands onto regular systems, I could be piqued.

With FreeSCAN you can set the frequencies of the service search feature yourself, as well as the stepping.

I saw where you can change the Mode and Step size but not the frequencies. I guess I'll just have to ignore the Service Search and program a Custom Search.
