Hello,

Just want to be sure that I am interpreting this correctly.

Re the new option they now have that sets the audio amp off between received transmissions
to eliminate hum for that period: (Set Audio Off Time)

Is the "infinite" setting the same as not having this option at all ?

e.g., the way the scanner was before downloading this new option ?

Thanks,
Bob

As intended, yes. So to say if you chose 1 second the amp will turn off in one second after transmission. Infinate means the amp will stay on indefinitely after transmission (or never turn off).

Yes, Infinite leaves the amp on all the time which was the default. If you have no hum, leave it set at infinite.
