Set up FRNSW on my UBCD396t

For starters are you in a GRN area or further out in the PMR area. Basically what area do roughly live in?

Hi all, yeah pretty easy to setup the GRN into the 396t tell tge software it's a motorola p25 system put your control channel frequencies in and put in trunk option the base frequencies of 412.475 step 6.25khz. Then start puting talk groups in and all should be ok.
Teufler, certain agencies work statewide like fire rescue NSW and Ambulance service NSW. We have a mororola p25 trunking system called the GRN or Government Radio Network. operating around 400mhz covering an area of 102,000sq miles or 1/3 of NSW. OUtside of the GRN these agencies go over to their own (for now anyway) PMR (conventional) network.
