I took two years off from radio due to a nasty bout of esophageal cancer. Didn't use my VHF radio at all because my voice was all screwed up. Well, now I have a clean bill of health, but my FT-2900 is messed up.
I've been trying to set a name to go with some new repeaters I've programmed in. Hit the usual button, go to (30) NM_SET, hit it again...and the first three numbers flash, but I don't have any way to set the name. I've done it before and it's not rocket science. Is there something wrong with the radio?
