Settings loss when disconnecting from power

As it applies to the 536...

Currently use a master disconnect power switch to power down my console in my vehicle. This turns off all radios in the console where the 536 is to be mounted. The caution in the manual warns of loosing some settings if the radio is not turned off first before isolating it from power. Does anyone know which settings are affected? Upman?

Not sure about Uniden but my AOR radios and other ones, any memory changes done since the last cycle of the power switch will be lost because the EEPROM/flash memory, does not get written too until the radio is turned off by the power switch.
