Ok, went into UART (Demo-ware) and tried to set up the "Close Call Set CC Bands" option to "Custom" and unchecked "800MHz+" and "Air Band" then saved the changes, then uploaded them to 246T.

HOWEVER, the screen in UART that shows the 246T settings, still shows them as being on. Can they be only turned off/on by the way described on P. 87 of the Manual?

Uploaded it twice, and still shows Air band & 800 MHz+ as being on.

It's a chip for computers to interface with the 'outside world'. It stands for Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter

But I think he means UASD.

Have you tried using ARC246T yet? If not then I suggest you do. You can find the demo here

Not yet. Is it compatible with what you can do with UASD? Can I have both prog's on comp. at same time?
Tried to reload things as described in earlier posts in thread, & still doing the same regarding some being turned off & others not.
