I guess I need to buy another computer and setup my own stream, not much coverage out here, Omaha, Kearney sub to North Platte

I would definately like to see a stream for the Kearney Sub. I'm a little bit east. Furthest I can reach is Fremont, even then that is a stretch.

I appreciate the link, but to be honest I have little interest in the Omaha area, since I live 250 miles west, but only 40 miles from Bailey Yard.
There is a lot of traffic this morning out here I am hearing the UP, of course, BNSF and the shortline that goes through Cambridge, I don't know what is called now, among others.
I do have a question though, don't know who to ask, so here you go. I have heard traffic concerning switches, and things like main 1 track 1, what are they talking about?

Could be giving track and time or some sort of authority to a track inspector, work train, etc.

The BNSF branch you are probably asking about is the Hastings Sub. It runs through Cambridge through McCook to Denver. I used to run the Z-DENCHI and Z-CHIDEN on occasion. The Giltner Sub branches from Aurora to Hastings.

There are also several shortlies BNSF got rid of out there. They are owned by the NKCR.

...and yes I was a Conductor for the BNSF.

I will do some checking I can buy an ITX 12 volt computer for a couple hundred with XP mobile loaded, then another couple hundred to find a suitable receiver, not anything that is going to happen soon
