Bloomfield CT - UHF Passport LTR - several frequencies are transmitting LTR "markers" every 3 seconds. Voice traffic should start by end of year.

While not a brand-new system, I have heard and read that Bristol is updating their 800MHz Motorola Type II to a digital system.

3600 baud, I believe, and using the same frequencies.

The City of Norwalk has hired a consultant (according to a newspaper report) to design a TRS for all city services.

from what i hear, bristol is updating their sites as we speak. new generators and equipment is being installed . just a matter of time before the police dept goes digital (3600 baud ). hope this helps
