Castle Rock Outlet mall flooding. I-25 Castle Pines area had hail 2" and larger. The funnel clouds were many in the Founders Pkwy area.

Severe thunderstorms developed quickly across the Front Range and Palmer Divide Wednesday afternoon, with the National Weather Service confirming at least six tornadoes in five counties before 8:00 p.m.

5:05 p.m. Near Denver International Airport (landspout)

6:38 p.m. Near Grover, Weld County (minor tree damage reported)

7:30 p.m. Near Kiowa, Elbert County

7:40 p.m. Near Elizabeth, Douglas County

7:44 p.m. Near Kiowa, Elbert County

7:45 p.m. Near Bennett, Arapahoe County

Round 2 for today, Douglas County Dispatch and Elbert County OEM spotters have a confirmed tornado touched down in Simla in Elbert County. Simla FD has a grass fire in the area, but are requesting aid from Limon and Kiowa due to Simla FD responding to at least one house hit by a tornado in the area of Co Rd 105 and 86. RP in the home has advised glass damage.

U/D: Another RP is calling in advising home has also been hit in the same area.
