Storm Predication Center has central Indiana under a slight risk for severe weather today.Timing late afternoon and nightime hours on Thursday 3-15-2012 Area is from Indianapolis/Marion County to Southern Indiana.

Through 8AM tomorrow, 15% chance of 1" diameter hail and damaging thunderstorm winds in the western and southwestern parts of Indiana; 5% chance in the rest of the state. Less than 2% chance of tornado.

And you said the chance was only 20%.Also a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Western Orange County until 4:15 PM. At 3:43 PM NWS Radar was indicating a severe thunderstom that *Could produce Half-dollar size hail. Storm was near French Lick Airport.

Severe Thunderstom Warning for:Morgan County until 4:30PM. Radar was indicating a Severe Thunderstorm near Spencer moving Northwest at 25 MPH. Could produce quarter size hail. Will be near Martinsville, Devorce, Gosport, and Pargon.

Need to get you Indiana folks edumacated on the weather warning process... If this is the only way the NWS there gets the word out - you've got issues!
