I know that Severe weather season is over with now, but as you all know, I am kind of new to the scanning world, so that led me to creating this thread.

I am interested in listening the storm chasers and spotters during severe weather season. I am not sure if there is any information here at RadioReference.com that might help. I have looked and if there is info, I must not be digging deep enough.

If anyone has any information about this, please let me know. I am interested in frequencies so that I can listen in next season.

Thanks ahead of time for any information.

WI9NDY & severewxnut:

Thanks for the info there fellas. I programmed the Howard county freq. from the SkyWarn website. I hope that I get some transmissions from it so that I can see if I want to keep it in there. I figure with Winter coming and road conditions getting hazardous, might hear some traffic or advisment of more bad weather coming.

Thanks again.
