SFMTA P25 phase 2

SFMTA finally cut over to their P25 system. I try to monitor with my TRX-1 but only get a fraction of the traffic. Any tips for receiving this system?

Where are you monitoring from? Their system sounds like garbage from Marin, that's why I've only been able to submit a few talkgroups to the DB. The problem seems to be simulcast distortion.

What kind of scanner do you have? P25 systems typically broadcast the band plan as part of the control channel data, and scanners are able to decode it and track the system properly by themselves.

I’m programming an APX and it looks like Harris is not using a standard Motorola bandplan.

Ok, I broke out an SDR and DSDPlus. Here's the bandplan if anyone else needs it:

Bandplan #0: Base=851.0125 Offset=-45 Spacing=12.5 BW=12.5
Bandplan #1: Base=769.00625 Offset=+30 Spacing=12.5 BW=12.5
Bandplan #8: Base=851.0125 Offset=-45 Spacing=12.5 BW=12.5 Slots=2
Bandplan #9: Base=769.00625 Offset=+30 Spacing=12.5 BW=12.5 Slots=2

The TDMA / Phase 2 entries that Harris is using are pushed way down from where you find them in a Motorola system.
