SFPD - "We'll get our own"

I'm a new listener to SFPD and often hear units indicate that they have "sufficient help and we have our own" or "we'll get our own" - mainly related to car stops (I think).

Anyone know what they have or will get?

I would bet run the person and car on their MDT.

The police unit will get the computer results (plate info, etc), without the Dispatcher broadcasting the same info.
