Today I finished running wires; installed a MCA204M and a laptop for Unitrunker. After all the work I can now sit back and enjoy my accomplishments. I also setup a smaller area behind my desk chair for additional work like running UT, programming my portables and soon I hope to have a BC898T on the second shelf for monitoring Mil-Air. I don't have to explain the equipment, everyone should be farmiliar with everything.

I made one slight adjustment. I decided to hook my spare monitor up to the laptop dock which gives me more viewing screen resolution. Now everything is uniformed across my desk. I can still power on the laptop from the dock switch. No more changes tonight.

What do you have for an antenna, and do you use a coupler for your scanners? You did a great job on the wires too, nice and clean.

The main desk radios (first 4) are connected to a Stridsberg MCA204M Multicoupler. The MC is connected to a Diamond DJ130N with LMR-400. The fifth radio is connected to an 800 MHz Yagi with RG-6 pointed towards the Pensacola’s 800 tower. The back desk scanners will be running RG6 to a RS 20-176 sputnik tomorrow.

I'm glad to have found someone who is using a Stridsberg. I'll assume you are happy with it?

I'm looking at MCA208M for my many scanners and R7000.

One day I hope to have a very clean looking shack like you have.

I couldn’t be happier with purchasing the Stridsberg. For one thing I went from running 5 antennas and lines down to two. The price I paid for all the extra hardware I could have purchased the Stridsberg back in the beginning. I’m also happy that all my radios are running off my best configuration, LMR-400 & DJ130N. All my radios are pulling in nice clean and strong signals.

I use LMR-400 & the DJ130N as well. I only have one of them at a time and I'd love to get the Stridsberg. What coax do you use between the Stridsberg and your radios? Is it a high quality RG6 or or LMR-400?

Thx
