I have searched the forums and wiki, as well as the Internet in general and some documents I have in my office, for the designated SHARES HF frequencies. I vaguely remember when the program was first given this name that there were several 2 MHz channels listed. The lists I have found show nothing on 2 MHz. They also list a number of non-SHARES frequencies (like ham freqs, for example) under "SHARES users" or similar headings.

So, what are the actual designated SHARES HF channels?

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK Dave these channels are outlined on Hugh Stegman's Hurricane list of frequencies. Note that, at least on some of them, ALE is used before the actual traffic begins.

There are no amateur frequencies used in the SHARES program. There are 8 or 9 frequencies set aside for use by any of the stations including several dedicated ones for ALE, data & voice modes. The remainder of the frequencies (maybe 100 or so total) are supplied by the partcipating stations from their own networks. If you'd like a list, post a email address & I'll send you the info.
