Many current IAP's can be found here:

The Resource Unit Leaders who are responsible for the assembly and printing of the IAP's have been given specific instructions not to file IAP's on this website. Some make a mistake now and again. This is the case for a fire I'm following quite closely. I didn't think to check on this website because I just assumed I would not find an IAP for it. I was wrong and have some info I really wanted so thanks for reminding me one should never make assumptions. Assume = making an ASS out of yoU and ME

This fire is winding down and the comm plan for yesterday has a much reduced frequency use listed.

That was the old school way of thinking. Now it's hit and miss with the Feds. They're realizing it does jack squat to security whether they publish this digitally or not. Benefits far outweigh the risks. The QR codes get shared within the incident anyway. So yeah, always check there, even if the first few operating periods don't have an IAP published, it can happen on day 4 etc, and especially when the incident goes unified command with the state.

Yep. As one of my co-workers stated on a different forum, IAP's wind up in the dumpsters in fire camp, blow off of tailboards, bumpers etc. They're not that secure, so why are they worried about making them available online? It was kinda lame showing up at briefing back in the day to find that all the paper IAP's were gone. For some reason there always seemed to be extra maps though......

Also of note: Several of the CalFire teams have box.com accounts that are publicly accessible as well with IAP's, maps, etc....

When I went to the CDF media class several years ago we were told the IAP is a public document and must be released when requested. We were told to always go to the command post to check in and grab an IAP.

I have made a few requests for IAP's from events over the years and have never has an issue getting it.
