Shelby, Armed Car Jacking

Shelby, MI, armed car jacking just occurred at 21 Mile and Hayes Rd. Two black males, truck last seen headed South on Hayes Rd. 2001 Tan Dodge Durango, with $10,000.00 worth of cigarettes. One perp seen with silver handgun. Temporary paper plate in back window. Both males about 5'8". Stopped at Jefferson & Crocker. The perps original vehicle was a black Ford Explorer.

Hackel is the first and only democrat I've ever voted for. But he does a good job and he takes the job seriously.

You can form your own opinion about his father (which I don't believe), but in my book, our Sherriff is top-notch.

Same here - he's the only Democrat that I have ever voted for. I graduated from Macomb Community College with a degree in Law Enforcement. I had Sheriff Mark Hackel for one of my classes. He's a really nice person. I'm glad they caught these losers.

Crocker and Jefferson is not trendy Shelby Township. That's Harrison Township, not as trendy but still a toney 'burb.
