shelby county amd tuscaloosa county

does anybody know if shelby county so has any other repeaters other than 154.785

also tuscaloosa county so i know they have so 1 north 155.610 when they put out a 10-33 on so 1 they freq seems to shut down

155.61 is the only active frequency that I've been able to locate for TCSO. I occasionally hear them say switch to "wide area". I'm pretty sure that wide area is Southern Stink. They used to use 155.67 as a backup, but I haven't heard any radio traffic on that frequency in quite a while.

There was some talk a while back about TPD switching to a new radio system. Anybody have any news on that??

I think I have. My uncle said that it was going to be a while before they get new radios. From what he said, they were still going to be analog.

I remember I heard some traffic on 155.67 before. It was a long time ago when there was a pursuit in Brookwood. That was probably the only time I ever heard anything on it. I'll ask a deputy to see if they still have that Channel 2.
