Shelby County SO Dispatch?????

Are all the patrol units on the SCSO system dispatched on SO1? It seems like there used to be a division among several talk groups for dispatching based on areas of the county.

Anyone have first-hand knowledge of this?

Uniform patrol division is dispatched on SO-1, Fugitive/Civil Units are dispatched on SO-2.

OK, just wanted to make sure that was the case. The DB reflects that but previously, those TGs were identified by geographical areas.

Yeah, for some reason, they were shown that way. I always thought that was the case until I was corrected. But the current DB is correct.

Yepper, formerly on the old EDACS system it was divided into geographical Patrol Sectors on two tg's, but is now done on a single tg.
