post’s have subsided.
Would one of you local ops please give us a little summary of
how the system turned out.
Coverage, dead spots, paging and general observations.

I live about 20 miles north of the nearest towers, and my reception is mediocre. I usually have good bars, but being a simulcast system, my scanners have a hard time decoding the signal.

The system has fire, county sheriff, town PDs, town governments & services, and school bus transportation on it.

It works well in the valley areas, I can't speak for far western Shenandoah County or out in Fort Valley but I have no issues anywhere along the 81/11 corridor.
