I'm trying without success to receive Shenandoah National Park and getting nothing, even though I'm often line of sight to them. I must have something set wrong.

Using the Pro-106 and Win500, I have the freqs programmed as CONVentional objects, the modulation set as FM, the Squelch Mode set as NAC and the Squelch Code set as Search. I saw this recommendation on another forum for use with single-freq P25 systems.

Would appreciate any suggestions from those of you who are hearing them. Thanks.

They are P25 digital as you noted and the last time I bothered to listen, they were mostly encrypted. Someone with better info hopefully will jump in here.

It's been a while since I have listened too, since they are largely encrypted. What frequencies are you using? I am not having very good luck on computers today and cannot find the NPS link in the RR's federal database. I think I was still using 166.900 and some other frequencies I have that they are on (and seem to be linked to 166.900) are 171.700, 172.650, 172.675, 173.7625, and 173.675.

Good luck!

I have the Shenandoah National Park as the following and it has worked okay for me.
SHENANDOAH NP 172.650000 NFM NAC Search 0
SHENANDOAH NP 172.675000 NFM NAC Search 0
SHENANDOAH NP 171.700000 NFM NAC Search 0
SHENANDOAH NP 166.900000 NFM NAC Search 0
SHENANDOAH NP 173.762500 NFM NAC Search 0

See if that helps.
