Here lately while listening to the SCSO EDACS system, I've heard many calls comming across as "Rescue 2" or "Rescue 1 responding". This is on the North Dispatch talkgroup. Why would there be "rescue" anything on this talkgroup?? Something I missed maybe??

The SCSD has Reserve first responder units that provide first aid to accident victims and others on need. They probably use the Rescue #'s. I saw one a while back in Cordova big white F-250 Crewcab truck with green stripes.

They are manned by reservists.

Thats ok I read too slow and usually don't even get a chance to respond before somebody who knows everything about everything tells all about a subject . I was just giving you a little freindly ribbing and realized that it may not have come out that way. Sorry.
