Shooting-Homicide in Denver with stand-off

There was a shooting resulting in a homicide in Denver about 7:00pm or so. There are about 60 cops as well as several SWAT teams on site including officers from Denver, Lakewood, Adams, and also a couple of westminster officers on scene. Denver SWAT is on site as well as fire and EMS treating a gun shot wound to one of the suspects which they have gotten out of the apartment that the suspects are in which was found by PD via a blood trail.

There is good monitoring on Adams, Westminster and the best on Denver District 4 Disp. 4 and some good monitoring on Lakewood. There is also some on Denver SWAT channels, Denver FD and I-Call and I-Tac channels (unknown which one). Enjoy!

The more presise info you could provide would be great. Denver dist. 4 is one heck of a long way from Westminster! It seems odd that so many agencies were involved. If you don't prefer to use the exact talkgroup (ie, Denver tac 4 = 04-083), it would help if you gave us a little better info ( ie, Lakewood/ L-Tac one etc.). Once again, thanks for the post, and I must admit that I have had 1 or 2 alcoholic beverages this evening.......................lol.

It was somewhere on Hampden. When it becomes morning, I will probably remember. :roll:

The reason that lakewood was so involved because I believe that the shooting took place here. A friend and I were both listening as we talked on the phone, so it is kinda mixed info still. I think they already cleared the apt but they still should be on that channel (Dist. 4 Disp. 4 channel)
