Shooting In Helper just after 7:00am this morning (Monday). Female Victim Shot in Hand sent to Hospital. Police spotted the blue van that the suspect was driving. Went 10-60 on Spring Glen Road and they had him at gunpoint. Suspect apparently shot Himself 10-85 Echo. Spring Glen Road is Closed from 4600 North Spring glen Road To Helper Main Street. Suspect Used a .38 Special.
