shorter antenna for 346xt

does anyone know of a good shorter antenna then the one that comes with the 346xt. it needs to cover the verona NJ EDCAS system

I found the maldol mh-255, which is 3 inches in length to be a good all around antenna for its size,worked great on my bc346xt, And quite flexible and durable.

I have been using the Maldol MH-209SMA and MH-209 (for BNC) antennas on all my scanners and amateur handhelds with excellent results. (I own 9 of the SMA and 2 of the BNC so far) I would expect that the MH-255 is the same thing except for the frequency it is made for. They work as good or better than the original antennas that came with the radios.

I have used this antenna for over 15 years on 6 or 7 different scanners, primarily on 800 TRS and UHF/VHF. Works great and only 1.75 inches long.
