So it seems a new short wave station has appeared recently on 4835 and 2130 kHz. I've searched and can't find any information on this station. (Location, power, operating schedule, target market).

From searching Google, it appears that 4835 kHz was used in the past, but the station using the frequency packed it in a while back and a new station has taken its place. All I can find are a few very recent YouTube posts of stations logging the transmission.

I haven't heard it at my location yet. Anyone have any more info on this one??

There's been a fairly extensive discussion on the Australian on the World of Radio reflector.

Yes, WWCR is going to make it tough to hear that station. Good test of dynamic range and selectivity
