A few minutes ago (17:20 UTC) I tried out my R6 on shortwave inside my apartment with just the stock rubber duck antenna, and was amazed to hear a broadcast direct from Saudi Arabia on 13.710 Mhz (in Arabic, with religious chanting). It was coming in as strong as on my R75 desktop receiver and 23 ft. of wire.
