FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Farmington Hills police were on the scene of a shooting on the side of Orchard Lake Road near 13 Mile Road.

Details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available, but one person was loaded onto a stretcher into an ambulance just before 5 p.m.

There are northbound lane closures on Orchard Lake Road.

One person is in custody. Victim is believed to have non-life threatening injuries. Victim has been transported to Bostford ER.

UPDATE: Farmington Hills police said an apparent road rage incident led a man to fire shots into another car on Orchard Lake Road near 13 Mile Road.

Police said a male driver shot at an Audi that had two people inside, striking a man in the shoulder.

Police said the victim, a man in his early 20s, was taken to an area hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police said the shooter was arrested at the scene.
