More details when I have them...

6300 Blk or Rockwell

Shots fired at Warr Acres police. If you are scanning Hefner division, you should pick it up also.

Ok, everyone is ducked down behind cars waiting for air one. They just had one vehicle leave and Hefner is out on it.

The most troublesome thing they just put out was that the gun used most likely had a silencer on it.

More to come...

Ok, the way it sounds, they have officers at 63rd & Rockwell that they DO NOT want there. Apparently that is where it went down. An OCPD unit just picked them up to get them out of there. They are leaving the Warr Acres police cars there.

My guess, the cars were shot up and they are either immobilized or they don't want to disturb the scene. Or both.

Air one is en route. When this went down they were on another call. Anticipating a long deployment on this call, they have decided to opt for fuel first.

Several canine units just arrived on scene also. K-8 and K-9.

Nothing came out of the vehicle stop they made.

Air One just sent Hefner a message stating "They are not coming out due to the fog". Uhhmm, I just drove from 39th and Meridian up through Rockwell to 50th, over to Council, up to Hefner Rd, back to Rockwell, up to 122nd, then over to Tealwood (east of May 1/4 mile). Guess what? No fog.

Maybe they are getting consumed by it at the pad.

K-9 is going to put his dog on the ground. K-8 is going in as cover person. They are making their way up to 62nd and Rockwell.

What I have not been able to get it is if the subjects that fired the shots are in one location or barricaded. I think they have the area locked down, with the subjects possibly trapped, but they have not put out any other info on that stuff yet.

K-9 just came out of a specific building, just not sure which. A pawn shop was mentioned, but I don't know if that was a staging area or if it is the actual location. They mentioned bringing in the two Warr Acres officers, but decided against that for now. It almost sounds as if they are going to close up shop shortly. I could be wrong though.

Ok, the pawn shop was a totally different call. They opened the old Mickey's back up, which is now Deja Vu. This is a major problem club. Nothing but banger's and thugs in here. They just rolled 4 units up in the club becuase a speaker fell on someone's head. EMSA of course asked for back-up. The units that were sitting and watching the club (which should be done), were at the pawn shop across the street.

As a little background, back in the day when this club was Infinity for a while, we had a shots fired call there while workign security. The owner of the company was shot and the return fire went across the street into the pawn shop. So it is very close.

The club has been many things. However, it has almost always been a problem. If you want some good listening action, just sit on Hefner freq Wed-Sat nights. They just now started opening Wed and Thur.

So I just got an update. No bullet holes on the car. Paint chipping, maybe a small indention. Good chance it was a BB gun, but even still. If you are stupid enough to point and fire, then you are just as easily fired back on.

If it was a BB gun, that would explain why it was quiet and why they thought a silencer could have been used. Thank you to "you know who" for filling me in on the call. I just answered a domestic call with him at one of my properties.
