With the mega storm about to hit us, the scanners will be interesting to listen to tonight. I’ll have both of mine listening tonight.
Should be busy tonight indeed but not sure of mega storm but we shall see. How do you like the Icom R30 vs 436 on the P25 ARMER assuming those are what you are using per your signature? Any simulcast issues?

I have a 780XLT also among others and wondering if you have broken knobs on it as I have. Hard to find replacements.

Am missing a knob on my 780. Still works though. Am impressed with the R30. Picks up P25 as good or better than the 436. Nice thing about the 436 is seeing who is talking. Don’t have simulcast issues up by St. Cloud like the twin cities. Nice to have 2 P25 radios going when bad weather or chases going on. Now that I have my D220R in my house, picking up the twin cities better that with just the little antenna. Was going to get the SDS200 but Uniden passed up a golden opportunity to great one hell of a base station. Reason why I got the R30. Future proofed my scanning hobby when encryption goes wide spread. Would like to get the Icom 8600. Maybe down the road. R30 will do for now.
