See, here's my issue. The Uniden 436 was advertised, for a pretty penny, for doofus's like me - just enter your zipcode, and all my frequencies would be loaded,.based on Uniden's partnership with RR. But then when there is a frequency problem, it's my obligation to solve it.- and to take grief via the internet.

No, it's not your obligation to solve it, but the DB admins do rely on us to give them the information to fix the problem. They can't know every single thing and if they aren't experiencing the problem with the frequencies that you are, how can they fix it? How would they know what to fix? As for taking grief via the internet for it, well, I don't know about that. The responses I've seen here have been in an attempt to help you so I don't see that as giving you grief.
