Should inclusion of Two Tone voice paging on a conventional voice frequency be included in listing?

My local Public Works repeater has started using two tone paging for the Water Department on the analog voice repeater, same frequency and PL tone an all so regular users hear it too.

Should I make a database submission for this to be added in the description or is it irrelevant?

If you're asking about adding the actual tones to the RRDB listing, no. That belongs in the wiki.

If you're asking about having a note added to the listing stating that "paging tones are used", eh...that's not something that I would add to a listing, we try to keep the descriptions as short as possible. Maybe your local admin feels differently. It could also be added as a note to the subcategory, not the actual listing itself.

I vote no, not necessary, but I'm just one dbadmin so. 🤷‍♂️

From what I've seen Two Tone codes typically get listed in the wiki for the area or system rather than the database.

I wasn't going to submit tones but a description note stating that it's used or just "water department dispatch" but on 8000's advice I'll just leave it as is.

As mentioned, the tones should be listed in the associated Wiki article. The Wiki is a user-editable resource and is the appropriate place for "free-form" data such as tones, usage, etc.
