I noticed that these talkgroups were noted today monitoring this cell site but they were not in the database.

Does anybody know these talkgroups in the SD area

1904 - MA E TAC 2
2096 - MA E TAC 6
2128 - MA E CMD 4

The rest I don't know. There appear to be a bunch of mutual aid TG's that are now missing from the DB. There are also several federal agencies that subscribe to RCS.

I haven't. You may. The odd part of this is that this info originally came from the DB. Perhaps inadvertantly dropped at some point. If I get ambitious next week I may cross check my programming against the current DB. Don't hold your breath;>)

I was thinking perhaps dropped for a purpose, but since its been heard... Does the label match what you heard?

Okay I will submit the changes. Next time I am out there I will throw Trunk88 sniffer on the CC and run it and report back

I'm not familiar with these talkgroups, and I thought I had a pretty good handle on the RCS. Do you recall if those are mutual aid for fire, or law enforcement? Since Sierra Rojo is in the Valley Center area, could these be some unincorporated local government type talkgroups (similar to the city tacs)? I don't think I've logged any of those on North Zone.

My download of RCS was a few years ago and some of what I have is no longer listed I in the DB. That includes 16 TG's each of FIRE EXPN, LAW EXPN, and PW EXPN. I conclude they have been expanded.

Here's the list of mutual aids that I have:

MA E CMD 1 1840
MA E TAC 1 1872
MA E TAC 2 1904
MA E CMD 2 1936
MA E TAC 3 1968
MA E TAC 4 2000
MA E CMD 3 2032
MA E TAC 5 2064
MA E TAC 6 2096
MA E CMD 4 2128
MA E TAC 7 2160
MA E TAC 8 2192
MA E CMD 5 2224
MA E TAC 9 2256

From reading the RCS meeting minutes over the last few years I know there have been additional users added to the system and these TG's may have been repurposed. Perhaps it's time for me to reload the RCS.

I get to SD Co a couple times a year and that's on the desert side.

All of the TGs in the original post are retired, which is why they were deleted from the RR database.
The fire MA TGs were eliminated in 2008 with the revised Fire fleetmap.

This is OT for this thread but I hate to start a new one just for this simple question.

Speaking of retired TGs, in the Heartland Fire group there is one off-the-wall TG with an equally out there label. 7888 is listed as Tac 17, which doesn't jive with any of the others in the fleetmap. Is this something left over from the past that just got forgotten? I don't listen to HCF enough to know if perhaps its alpha tag is the only thing astray or whether it is a retired TG altogether. Anyone?

Also 8016, 17360 & 17392 Training 1,2 &3?

Thanks for those updates, I am going to go ahead and submit that information as I just heard confirmation on those channels myself with a training operation on 4H 4I & 4G.

But re-reading this thread I am now more confused.

The OP gave a short list of IDs found while monitoring that site, but you stated they are retired. I am wondering if the information in the original post is from actual monitoring or trunker activity and was it current?

I'm guessing trunker activity. There are a number of (non-fire) radios in the fleet that still have the pre-2008 fire fleet map programmed.
