Signal 1??

Anyone hear the Michigan State Police announcement a few minutes ago about "Signal 1" being implemented tomorrow (3/16) as a result of order of the Governor? There was an official start time stated (didn't catch it).

Anyone know what what "Signal 1" means?

I reached out to a connection of mine in MSP; They said it's a preparedness-related message specific to the troops, and that is all they could say.

Now if you'll excuse me, there are several individuals in white plastic armor-like outfits at my door.....

I've been monitoring MSP since their low-band days, and I've never heard them use "Signal 1" to call out a stop. They've always said "Traffic stop" or "...on a stop".

And a "traffic stop" "...by order of the Governor" doesn't really make much sense.

i was advised that the governor's order was each cruiser needed to be equipt with full riot gear and a go bag for each occupant in case things start to get ugly dealing with the virus fallout. Lack of food, toilet paper, money, jobs, etc.....

I'm glad i'm not the only one that's wondering what a signal 1 is. I heard it go over MSP D1 North the other night, most eerie thing i've heard on the radio thus far... I am certain it's not a "traffic stop"..
