This evening several of us were talking on 3900.00 and we could hear a single tone, repeated every two seconds.
The tone was at approximately 600 hz, and audible.
The other 5 or 6 stations were in California, Oregon and Arizona.
I am in central Idaho.
I checked several SDR’s including west coast, east coast Jodrell Bank observatory in England and one in Spain.
The signal was loudest in the Eastern US and Eastern Canada.
The signal could be heard in the above regions, but not in Europe, Asiatic Russia or the Soutern Hemisphere SDR’s.
Has anyone heard this before?
