Packet Signalink USB TNC/RF TX/RX APRS issues.

Good afternoon,

I have a Signalink USB hooked up to a Yeasu FT-1802 which are both hooked up to a windows 10 computer with PinPoint APRS V.2 software running for APRS. Everything works but the TNC RF transmit function, when that is attempted I get a TNC read/write time out error. Though for the APRS-IS bit the TNC and radio are both indicating that they are reading and writing data. I have messed with the TNC configuration with no joy. Any thoughts?

What TNC emulator software are you running? A Signalink USB is not a TNC. It's just a sound card interface.

Also, a Signalink does not have a software-controlled means of keying the radio. Signalinks have VOX circuits in them and they must be adjusted carefully so that the VOX circuit is tripped when it hears data in the audio coming from the computer.
