I recently attempted to edit my Signature line and am getting an ERROR/Warning of

  • Your signature is 1 line(s) too long.
  • Your signature may only have 1 link(s).

There is only one URL in my signature and it has been 3 lines long since day 1

Is an adjustment in the new forum software needed ??

I think they imported existing signatures which didn't have the constraints you listed, but once you try to edit the signature it must follow the new rules.

Even tried to make it one line and it still errors with the One Link message

That did work, for imbedding a URL, but sometimes it is better to have it show up as a real url for the internet challenged :)

It's a bit strange. If you enter in an url directly such as http://www.scanmaritime.com it thinks you have more than one link in your signature. This is how most people would enter an url into their signature.

The trick is to click on Insert link or Ctrl-K and enter in the link like this:

Cruise Ship Frequencies

If you use edit link, you should be able to copy and paste the URL to the description line of the link but remove the "http://" portion in the description. For example... www.scanmaritime.com
