This happens right after my Mom passed away in her 90's. He was just in a Psych Hospital but somehow got out and ended up with his gun. A lot for me to deal with, been too many deaths in the last few years.

@eaf1956, so sorry to also hear about your mother. I can relate to "too many deaths in the last few years." I lost my 98 year old father a few years back as well as others in my family. If you were perhaps born in 1956 based on a wild guess by your username, we are about the same age as I am a '56 vintage creation. Getting old sucks as our family members and friends start to pass on more frequently. We even start to actually check the daily obits for folks we might know. Some folks also check to make sure that they are not listed.

Please accept my Heartfelt condolences, and I hope you have those around you, who can help ease your pain.
There is nothing I can say to ease the pain that comes from this. I've lost two good friends to it and the pain affects each of us differently.

My condolences. I lost two friends to suicide. They were both dispatchers.
