SIM 11 - Open carrier

Anyone else around the Ottawa Valley getting a steady carrier signal on SIM 11 148.765?

When I was around Calabogie earlier today I had noticed that it's full scale out that way. I can hear it also in Renfrew with the solid carrier as well just lesser of a signal.

Been like this for a few days now.

Not sure about today because I haven't been listening much, but the last couple days it has been active on the 401 L&G, SDG. Aviation feeding ground units for various traffic offenses.

It is not uncommon for the towers to have the capability of TX/RX on SIM11. Dispatch can select the tower they wish to use.

Been like this for days now. Still a solid carrier on frequency in the area.

Seems to be back to normal now again. No more constant carrier.
