I will be visiting Simi Valley in a few weeks. Can someone confirm if the sheriffs dept is using the VHF frequencies or the P25 Trunk system?

I was just in Ventura county last week and the Sheriff was indeed still on their VHF system. I was also able to hear east and west dispatch on their P25 trunking system. It appeared they were patched into the P25 from their VHF system. The audio sounded pretty good. I only heard Fire on VHF.
