Hey guys, I’m looking for a low key, simple antenna solution for my scanner. I’m just using a handheld TRX-1 which works very well, but I live in a spot where I think I’ll be able to greatly extend my range and pick up a lot more with an outside antenna. I also am just getting into ham radio a bit so a dual purpose antenna that I can switch between scanner and ham radio. I’m hoping for something with simple installation and not overly visible. Meaning my wife will not be happy with a monster tower or contraption on the roof . I know there is no perfect solution, just looking for basic and simple. Thanks!
