around here Ambulance to Hospital is simplex, and different PL's.. I got a bus freq that appears to be giving PL's and dcs, aka- other channels. Last night, I identified 1 of those users( was on channel 29, she said ), and even heard another bus on the same freq my fire dept uses, different Pl.
Question is-
in a 20-30 square mile area, using simplex, how many channels can they have?
On 2 freqs...
Different companies as well..
EXAMPLE;
1 bus, Hussey trans, another, Mcrills, same freq, different tones
