It depends on if the 436 is an early model or late model for the uhf reception
The missing C1 noise issue only affects UHF reception when using fairly short antennas like the factory antenna, particularly when not using the BNC adapter, which moves the antenna away from the noise source. It compromises reception when using the factory antenna, but has almost zero effect when using the Diamond RH77CA on the factory BNC adapter. It has no effect on reception when using an external antenna connected by any length of coax.
