Hi Group, what is the best settings to monitor a Motorola simulcast system??? I am trying to monitor the Obion Co. Public Safety system in Tennessee. I'm using a PSR-500.

I think you are confused about that system. According to our database it is not a MULTI site system, just a standard SINGLE site system. No special programming required.

A simulcast system is several sites synchronized to simulcast - all transmitting the same signals simultaneously. That system has only one site so it is not even a simulcast system.

I'm not familiar with the PSR500 but if it has a setting for 800/900 set it to that for trunking groups. Thats if what your trying to do.

Yes you would program it in as 800/900 system and put in the red and blue frequencies.
