Sioux Falls and Minnehaha Cty Digital ?'s

Hello,

I just got my Bearcat 396t and programmed it with arc396. I can pick up HP fine but I cannot pick up any Police or fire. Is there a trick to get it to work?

? if that scanner is like the bc250 I would say you need to put it in search mode. and you should be able to pick up everything.?
I don't know much about that scanner. but Every one is just about digital around sioux falls. so the old anolog freq. you might as well not even put them in.

Rural Minnehaha County Fire Departments went digital on May 15. A Sioux Falls firefighter told me a couple days ago that Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is still analog.

I got it figured out. I was programming it to the wrong tower. Now it works great.

It will work quite well; however, you must also invest in the Win96 software from Starrsoft.com and get a data cable since you cannot manually program the 3 VHF settings needed in the Extended Frequency Table setup.
