Sioux Falls PD West

Just moved back to South Dakota after a 5 year hiatus. I haven't unpacked all my radios yet, but I've been using the Home Patrol in my vehicle. One thing I've noticed since I've been here is that the Home Patrol stops on the SF PD West talk group a lot carrying traffic from other talk groups, two in particular, Pierre SRC and some sort of transit channel.

Has anyone else had this problem? I know it's not unusual that this happens on occasion, but it is a constant issue for me.

I actually know what your talking about. I always thought it was a fluke with the scanner or the programming. When I lived there I'd hear it every once and a while.... Unless they maybe have those two channels patched and you can hear odd channels come through...I dunno man. Its odd.
