Site 2 - City of Guelph - FleetNet

I have just received a report of Site 2 being inactive and to remove it from the listings.

As I cannot monitor this personally, could those of you in the area check it out and reply to this thread?

Site: 2 was the old site used by the Guelph Police Service when it was on Fleetnet. GPS moved to their own independent OP25-PH2 system over a year ago make site 2 obsolete. Site 2 was also used by Guelph City Services 2 years back. They now have their own CAP+ system in place now.

Guelph City Non Emergency services used 3 UHF repeaters (they were NEVER on FleetNet) before they went Cap+ but that’s besides the point.

Guelph Police and Fire were also not the only users of the site despite OPP, MTO, and MOH subscribers being denied affiliation to the site. CISO was allowed on site 2.

I am almost home to check. Will update ASAP.

No activity on any published frequency for site 2 (incl. no CC), Woodlawn not reporting it as a neighbor. (Couldn't say when it last did though....)

I have heard this through the grapevines. But not verified.... its gone, site was redundant for coverage, hardware is still in place as a precaution if no issues occur the hardware will be redistributed to other sites.
